Geneva, 30 November 2015 - WIPO Advisory Committee on Enforcement comes up with work plan
The 10th session of the WIPO Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE) took place from 23 to 25 November. At the meeting, several speakers stressed that enforcing intellectual property rights is a challenge due to the lack of awareness of the consequences of infringement. Lengthy discussions on the issue took place over the three days, reflecting the different approaches on enforcement of intellectual property rights among countries. The meeting ended with an agreement on the future work of the committee, which will focus on countries exchanging information and best practices.
